Charitable Giving

Every year, SATLA members choose one charitable organization to raise funds for throughout the year. The 2026 charity of choice is the PEARLS Foundation. The PEARLS Foundation supports the PEARLS Court and EAGLES Court.  The PEARLS Foundation focuses on providing support, positive mentoring, life skills training, and trauma care to local Texas youth in the foster care system.  The PEARLS foundation has been a cornerstone of the Bexar County Judiciary's outreach initiatives since 2017 with many Bexar County Judges, both past and present, offering their time, money, and service to help at risk youth.

SATLA is proud to work with the PEARLS Foundation on such an important outreach project that has become a cornerstone of judicial community engagement and service.
